Two men have reportedly been injured in a crash in Crow Wing County.

Authorities say the two men were injured over the weekend when the Chevy Traverse they were in crashed and caught on fire.  The incident took place northwest of Garrison at the intersection of Highways 6 and 18 in Bay Lake Township.

The Traverse was reportedly traveling south on Highway 6 when it went through a stop sign at Highway 18 and struck an embankment — where it came to rest and caught on fire.

The driver of the vehicle, Thomas R. Raines, 29, St. Michael, and his passenger, Michael A. Steiner, 38, Buffalo, were both taken to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby for non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
