(Bemidji, MN)--Authorities are investigating online threats that led to the cancellation of classes at Bemidji State University.  The threats reportedly came during a “Beaver Huddle” event at Hagg-Sauer Hall Thursday night. Officials say the school's Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion was holding a discussion on "hate-based incidents that have taken place on our campus over the past few days."  The person or people behind the threats reportedly targeted "specific individuals in the room" via an "anonymous, location-based social media platform."

Classes were cancelled on Friday. Officials say the university is taking "every possible step" to identify the individual or individuals behind the threat.
